Grace Lee, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer

Grace Lee joined Lumentum in August 2021.



With over 25 years of global HR leadership experience in the high-tech sector, Lee is responsible for leading the company’s global HR organization and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) efforts, overseeing all facets of its programs and initiatives. 

Prior to joining Lumentum, Lee was Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer at Cubic Corporation. Under her tenure at Cubic, Lee’s cultural initiatives led to multiple recognitions ranging from the “Top 2020 Workplaces Award” to Forbes’ “Best Employer for Diversity” in 2019. Lee was also named among the Top 50 Chief Diversity Officers in 2020 by the National Diversity Council.



Lee serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Asure Software, a human capital software and service company, where she is chair of the Nominating Governance Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. She serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Cornell University’s ILR School and is Co-Chair of Evanta’s CHRO Southern California Governing Body.




Lee holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the ILR School at Cornell University, a Master’s degree in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego, School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of the Philippines.
